she does listen!

Hailee is a hypochondriac - something on her always hurts or there is something wrong or sick....headache, stomach ache, tooth aches, itchy arm, bug bites burn, hang nail, hair hurts...you get the idea. she IS the kid who cried wolf. because of that we try to just brush her off and make her just "deal with it". things are going to hurt. going to itch. might get sore. life WILL go on. now we've started joking that if her foot hurts we will "cut it off" so she can't feel it. her leg? no need for it - just "cut it off". anyway - before going in to bed tonight (which is when 95% of her problems occur, by the way) she comes in and says "I know you're just going to tell me to cut it off, but my foot right here is bothering me". Darren and I couldn't control our laughter! so then she started laughing - and what happens? she shows Darren her foot and he says "oh, that'll be easy to take off - hold on".....off to bed she went without another word!!!

now - here is some footage from her soccer game on 9/25/10 (wish it wouldn't have been windy on 10/2/10 so I could have recorded it without noise - she KICKED BUTT at her game! must have been the waffles for breakfast!)
