Posting for What's for lunch Wednesday!

Here's Hailee lunch yesterday - she loves the picks so I just add them where they fit....

She has chicken salad with butterfly cheddar shapes - ranch in the yellow container, oat-date bar, cantaloupe (lower tier); ritz crackers (for the chicken salad), cucumber flowers with another cheddar butterfly, and a mini pizza muffin - she requested this lunch and I have a feeling a lot will come home - she just can't eat all this!

this is being posted at What's for lunch at our house

Now that I'm working part time, you'll be seeing more Bento lunches - and some will be mine! I don't want the kids to have fast food if they're with me at work so I'll be getting creative with their dinners if needed - most of the time they will be home with Darren, but some nights that may not work out.

Where did you get a job?!

I'm working part time at a daycare. It's an hourly type - so the hours can be late, but if Darren's schedule doesn't work with mine the kids can come for free until he can pick them up or whatever. It'll be nice to have something to do with a bit of extra money!

Cool! That sounds like its really flexible since you can bring the kids along if need be. Will you be investing in scrap suppplies? I was also thinking about getting into scrapbooking...do you have suggestions for how to start(like what supplies, what brand, and where you get the most bang for your buck).

By the way thank you so much for the birthday card! It was absolutely beautiful! I loved Braden's drawing! It was so cute! I cant believe Peter will be drawing like that someday...

I was scrolling through the What's for Lunch posts and stopped to visit yours. It looks as though you live walking distant from my brother. He lives closer to 111th and Oneta. Fun! I moved to Lawrence, KS a few years ago. I too have gone back to work part time and that is why I am packing lunches for the girls.
