couple of cards

I'm always inspired by the talent that is oozing from the gallery at SplitCoastStampers. But this card just JUMPED at me when I saw it on their facebook page! I knew I had to create something similar.

Here's my take. not nearly as gorgeous, but I still just love this card and don't know if I should keep it or put it on etsy LOL

{Basic Grey pink paper, kraft cardstock, Unity flower stamp, CHF greeting stamp, twill, button, copics}

Here's another I made rather quickly. Our friends' son turned 10 on Friday and I had to have a card to go with the gift. I knew not to spend TOO much time on because I know kids really don't care about the card! LOL

{Dream Street papers, 7gypsies brads, red foam stamp unknown LOL, chipboard star}

Hope ya'll are enjoying your weekend! Today we are resting because yesterday was jam packed of lots of fun things that just wore us out!

Corey! I absolutely love your hello card!! Kraft is really popular now. I even bought some for the first time this past week and made Victoria's bday card with it (on my blog). I really like the layers rolled and inked on your hello card. The bday card is cute and simple just the way a kid's card should be. I would sell one hello card and make another one for you to look at in your room, so pretty.

I know what you mean about the talent over at the Splitcoast Stampers gallery! I get overwhelmed sometimes looking at all the talent they have over there. Your card is just as cute as some of the ones I've seen over there.....I love the white on the kraft background. And the birthday card is cute, simple and just perfect for a kid's card!
